Also IMAX has much better sound.

The edges are at the periphery of your view, but the important action is in the area of the standard crop. Projecting an aspect ratio not meant for those screens would just be shrinking the important part.

@CopperKnight8 DnA's Guardians is great, but L.E.G.I.O.N. is just as good, if not better. It's the difference between a book spinning out of, and caught in, a big cycle of cosmic events (which is fun!) and a team book that takes its time establishing strong characters.
