As at today in Osun, 97% of resources go to just two local governments. That is an aberration, actually, it’s criminal.
In 12 years of APC, Aregbesola and Oyetola, Osun got only ₦450bn.
In 3½ years of Adeleke, they have collected ₦650bn.
How does ₦650bn match what we see in Osun today?

"The fuel subsidy today would have been ₦53 trillion if Mr President had not removed it, given what is happening in Iran and globally." — NRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji
According to him, the exchange rate of 1 naira to a dollar would have been roughly ₦3,500 if not for the subsidy removal

1) Long overdue and long awaited. We need a road map to listing. NNPCL should give us a timeline, so stages left to listing can be tracked.
2) Listing the totality of the company on the NGX is going to be a crazy feat, and I just pity and pray for the internal audit teams, the external teams also payers to them, cuz they would want to die when they start auditing.
3) I don’t think one auditing firm can handle NNPCL books alone, they might need to combine KPMG and PWC on a joint basis, any ways more money for them.
4) The Listing would have to be dual listed, most preferably NGX and London stock market, because Nigeria alone can never afford NNPCL listing all by itself.
5) It’s not going to be growth stock, so don’t bother, it would be a dividend paying stock, so it would majorly pay institutional investors across board and the Federal Government.
6) The number of outstanding shares would and should be very enormous, if it isn’t north of 250B units it should be more.
7) Dividend payment should/could be quarterly, again it’s not a growth stock; The federal government would have to sell out about 20% to the public especially if they want to list in London.
8) Once listed, it becomes a public company, that the federal government invested in, and government interference would to a very large extent would drop.
9) Since the federal government would have the highest shares, they would receive their money only in dividend on profits quarterly which is why quarterly dividend like Saudi Aramco, could be followed.
10) It would greatly potentiate the stock market value as a whole but all these could take a while, probably 2028/2029 if they are serious about it.
All the best to everyone.

MTN Nigeria PLC Q2 2026 Results
Clearly, you can not grow at a "very high rate" forever. We are beginning to see a "high base effect" panning out.
Numbers were strong nonetheless, as MTNN is edging closer to the 100m subscribers mark.
Outlook remains very strong, and the lad declared ₦26.0 interim dividend (to be paid on September 7, 2026, to shareholders who hold the shares as of August 20, 2026).
A ₦26.0 dividend means ₦545bn, implying 77% of its half-year earnings.
Last year, the company paid ₦5.0 interim dividend. So the dividend is up 5x. 🚀🚀🚀

This is how messed up this world is.
Israel is the root cause of terrorism and Netanyahu is a terrorist war criminal.
You killed 22,000 children in Gaza, and when a human being tried to defend himself after you humiliated and assaulted him, you now play the victim.
There are no monsters other than the Israelis.
An ICC arrest warrant bears your name for war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the use of starvation as a weapon. Named at the ICJ for genocide. A fugitive from international justice.
