🚨 BREAKING:
World-renowned US rapper Kendrick Lamar:
"Donald Trump is a narcissist who runs a country built on fear and division, trampling over democratic values; you either stand for equality and the truth, or you are part of this climate of hate."
So much of my story—and Barack's—runs through the South Side of Chicago. We had so much fun going down memory lane with @People, sharing moments from the decades we've spent together, the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, and the work we still have left to do in our next chapter. We hope you'll check out the interview: https://t.co/N7HgrjrQRj
BREAKING: A federal judge has permanently blocked the Trump administration from enforcing an executive order signed last year that required proof of citizenship to register to vote and demanded mail-in ballots be received by Election Day. https://t.co/I78dhdVBvz
It was great catching up with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on Home Court at the Obama Presidential Center. We spoke about the game we love, what it means to open the Center in Chicago, and why understanding our history is so important for navigating the world today. We had a lot of fun—check out our conversation on @allthesmokeprod: https://t.co/IPjhq5sfSi
This is why racists stay hidden behind anonymous accounts: they’re afraid of having to be held accountable for the hate they spew…and probably don’t feel like taking random naps on the sidewalk.
Chud had a gun. He had one when I interacted with him. He had one when he approached Joshua Fox and ran his mouth. Self defense laws don’t give you the right to run around, antagonizing people with hate speech, and then cry “but I was scared for your life”. Well, you wouldn’t need to be in fear if you weren’t a terrible human.
Nuisance streamers are continuing to find out the hard way that the general public doesn’t want you in their face and getting content from their reactions. Go get a real job and leave people alone.
It was great reconnecting with our alumni tonight!
Michelle and I will always be grateful for the chance to work side-by-side with so many brilliant, selfless people who believed in something bigger than themselves.
To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.
