Would this fall into any of your policies to waive the fee? The guests aren't due for a while (longer than a week) so it's not a last minute cancellation etc. I know the host would need to contact you directly but I'm keen to get an answer on whether this could be possible?

@AirbnbHelp I have just started a private tenancy with someone who is hosting with yourselves. The host had been using the property as an Airbnb whilst looking for someone to rent, however when we got terms agreed for my private rental last week the host had forgotten to check

That they had bookings. They have 2 and one is for nearly a full month meaning the cancellation fee is near £500. This is obviously a lot, but I need the property as I have no other place to live and the local town is hard to find rentals.
