Additionally- Domestic suppliers will, naturally, take the opportunity to increase their margins when their competitors who import has to raise their prices.
The inflationary impact is coming but will flatten.
@typesfast Maybe applying globally high tariffs on ‘cheaply made’ items is not a bad thing.
It could limit the “single-use” mentality we have all become accustomed to. We would spend on and keep higher quality repairable goods creating a whole 2nd layer economy?
Quality over price wins?
@typesfast@amazon The #1 thing @CBPTradeGov can do is to restrict the ability for foreign companies without a U.S. base to register as a non-resident importer. It is too easy for these companies to skirt the rules and disappear into the night.
@braveben +1 Run your start up for organic growth and profitability. You’ll never be beholden to anyone. If you raise, then great, if not then your vision will still manifest. More money doesn’t necessarily make you better but often leads excess and waste. Make glass your favorite dish.
@flyvolaris - mission impossible…
Can we get a straight answer on flight status for Y4 3193 from MZT today?
We have received conflicting information , saying it’s on time and the it’s delayed?

Can you please escalate?
@flyvolaris so here we are at TIJ - flight is canceled without any notification. Next flight in 10 hours. And no one can provide any information and no accommodations of any kind… oy!
