@ballater6@Ria1984 Whenever I was asked for this, I would give the child a new exercise book and tell the parents the child needs to write a diary of every day of their holiday. It rarely came back completed 😆
@Cyclone_Katie@RetirementTales My August born son started having difficulty sleeping in the run up to SATS. I wrote an email stating unless the pressure from his school decreased significantly, he would be absent from school for 2 weeks over the SATS period. Did the trick 😁
.@ThomasCookUK my vulnerable mum in her 70s phoned your agent & asked to book a holiday half board. She paid the price we’d seen online for half board. She’s arrived & been told your agent booked b&b & she must pay £100pn for dinner.
@MrMcofficial86 I had this exact conversation with an Ofsted inspector last year. He said he wasn’t in the business of telling people to throw books away, so I told him he needs to tell the phonics schemes this, as ‘fidelity to the scheme’ is being used to make people buy a ton of new books.
How wages have faired.
MPs: Pay ⬆️ 22% in real terms since 2010
Bankers: Bonuses ⬆️ 101% in cash terms since 2008
CEOs: Pay ⬆️ 23% in 2022 alone
Teachers: Pay 🔻 24% since 2010
Nurses: Pay 🔻 20% since 2010
Whose wages are causing the inflation?

Warwick Uni have less than 50 PGCE students enrolled for 23/24. My cohort in 16/17 was about 300-350.
Those numbers are for the entire cohort by the way, primary secondary and early years.

@FloraSCooper Hi just wanted to say thank you for all you are doing with highlighting how broken the Ofsted system is. I’ve taught for 20 years, but have just resigned as I physically don’t have another Ofsted in me. I wrote this poem while contemplating giving my notice. Feel free to share x
@RetirementTales Battered cod and chips please, and half a lager.
