I think this mentality is akin to a "financial atheism" and antithetical to the basis / concepts that brought crypto to where it is today, it's currently in this edgelord phase where the outlook is nihilistic because innovation has halted, and the participants are inclined to parasitism at worst, commensalism at best. Clearly there are dedicated builders still trying to figure out how to bring life in this space again but the murky incentive structure hinders this.
Also maybe there is no God and it's a futile effort for the devout believers, but as long as they try I choose to be naively optimistic and believe.
