@BlueChipCompute 💯 agree with this. To be fair most of those posting that kind of thing seem to barely be able to string a coherent sentence together either.
@Regista10_ Playing against Europe’s elite, outplaying them for large portions. We don’t always have to claim incompetence on our part. To a man, we were superb tonight. Oppo players sometimes get away from ours - that’s football. Not a night to dig them out imo.
@CraigHope_DM Glass half full and all that - but is there a chance that going in 1-0 up could’ve worked against us next week with the temptation to hold out for a (probably unrealistic) 0-0? 🤔
@themagicbeatle@NUFC Our fanbase really does shoot itself in the foot when it regularly and randomly chooses a player to scapegoat. He is a quality player and we are lucky to have him imo. But he will leave soon and I wouldn’t blame him.
@LAS_Nufc I know it is so bizarre. Came on here expecting to see real positivity off the back of three away wins and a narrow, undeserved defeat but nope. This app is crazy
@jimski_kings 💯 - the problem with this strategy is clubs end up with average managers who provide the classic bounce just to get them out of trouble, but that rarely lasts. If they hire an interim, they often end up making it permanent because of the bounce, and then form dips. Repeat.
@leerobson23 I agree. I see Forest are in that cycle now as well. Too many clubs sack their managers the moment they hit a rough patch in search of a new manager bounce, which by its definition is temporary and not sustainable.
@MattScotney This is the thing when people say “that’s in the past, it’s irrelevant”. It is not irrelevant because he has proven he is a winner at Newcastle and that gives a solid reason to believe he can and will turn it around.
@FordeyNUFC The armchair comment is daft and misplaced. I do think some of the abusive comments are bang out of order but the problem is people are lumping these in with the general ‘Eddie out’ comments. I want Eddie to stay but people are entitled to think otherwise.
@ToonRaider_NUFC Yeah I honestly like both of them but feel they offer quite different attributes and can be used in different situations. I worry that our fans have so little patience right now and are hounding our top players out as soon as they hit a sticky patch.
@DanMcMahonF1 This is 💯 right. I hear loads saying, “oh, so we’re not allowed an opinion?”. An opinion is not what people are complaining about- it is the extreme aggression and hate being thrown his way.
@connorlakey97 Fair enough I don’t agree with that kind of language. But again not wanting Howe out and saying you are not allowed to be disappointed with performances / results are 2 very different things
