In the 90s the IRA detonated huge bombs in London. It was a terrorist outrage.
The UK responded by killing 100,000s of NI citizens, starving the population, shooting those who sought aid and bombing Belfast flat.
They didn't, because war crimes is not an answer to terrorism.
