I’m extremely honored and blessed to announce I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at the University of Southern Mississippi. First, I want to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for blessing me with the ability to play this game at a high level. Second, I want to thank my Mom and Dad for the endless sacrifices they made to put me in a position to achieve my dream. I want to thank the rest of my family and friends for always supporting me and being by my side along the way. Also, big thanks to Coach Oz, Coach Rhodes, Coach Brewer, Coach Leger, and Coach Cheese for this amazing opportunity. I’m looking forward to playing for one of the best Division 1 programs in the country! #SMTTT
Don’t care who the opponent was, a win is a win… and 500 yards of offense (300 rushing!) + holding a team to 3 points and 200 yards of offense is a great building block for a team that just played its first real game together.
On to The Plains… 🦅
Hey @dima_mixon is this still the worst team you have covered or has that since then changed? What about “All 3 qbs are equal in that they all suck.” Do you still stand that or just behind closed doors?
Ten years ago today, Southern Miss looked dead in Lexington.
Kentucky led 35–10 late in the first half. The Golden Eagles then scored 34 unanswered points, shut out the Wildcats after halftime and walked out with a 44–35 victory.
Still one of the greatest comebacks in Southern Miss history.
