داستان ایاز و شکستن گوهر گران‌بهای پادشاه (از دفتر پنجم مثنوی معنوی مولوی)

پادشاهی گوهر گران‌بهایی داشت که هر روز آن را در دست می‌گرفت و می‌ستود. روزی آن را به درباریان داد و گفت: «بشکنیدش.» از وزیر تا امیر، هر یک گوهر را در دست گرفتند و با ستایش از ارزش بی‌مانندش، از شکستن سر باز زدند. شاه به هر یک از آنها خلعت و پاداش بخشید. در پایان نوبت به ایاز رسید، نزدیک‌ترین یار شاه. گفت: ایاز ما گوهر را بشکن!
ایاز بی‌درنگ گوهر را شکست.

درباریان برآشفتند و گفتند: «چگونه چنین گستاخی کردی؟» ایاز پاسخ داد: «گوهر اصیل، فرمان شاه بود، نه این سنگ. شما گوهر را پاس داشتید و فرمان را شکستید. من فرمان را پاس داشتم و سنگ را شکستم.»

این روزها نیز بسیارند کسانی که خود را میهن‌پرست و پیرو شاه می‌دانند. اما هنگامی که شاه در هنگامه‌ی تلاطم فرمانی می‌دهد، می‌کوشند بگویند در حال پاسداری از چیز دیگری هستند، و از همین رو فرمان شاه را که گرانبهاترین گوهر است پیوسته می‌شکنند.

قیمتی گوهر نتیجهٔ مهر و ود
بر چنان خاطر چرا پوشیده شد

هم بمباران و هم تصرف زمینی رخ میده ولی اون چیزی که تا این لحظه در اون حداقل در بعد بین المللی موفق نبودیم جنگ روایت‌ها بوده!

Javanmardi brought divisive, partisan Iranian politics into the newsroom and used VOA Persian to advance his own political agenda. His brazen propaganda alienated many mainstream Iranians, leading them to boycott the outlet and further diminishing its reach and credibility.
