Cassandra isn't a database. It’s a toolkit. 🛠️

Most people struggle with Cassandra because they try to force it into a single box. They've been told it's "just" an eventually consistent store, but that’s only one of its three personalities.

In my latest post, I break down why Cassandra’s Identity Crisis is actually its greatest architectural strength.

We look at:
✅ Gossip Protocol: The Socialite. Handles cluster awareness with Eventual Consistency.
✅ Quorum: The Mathematician. Uses tunable parameters to guarantee Strong Consistency.
✅ Paxos: The Perfectionist. Powers Lightweight Transactions (LWT) for Linearizable operations.

The best systems aren't the ones that are always the same—they’re the ones that know exactly when to change their personality.

@HardeepSPuri I don't think you understood the question nor answer them. You just said whatever memorised; 1. why price of petrol is high if you mixing ethenol blend 2. why recently hiked price didn't drop even after the reduction in crude oil price. 3. Reports of ethenol not damaging vehicles

Thank you, #HDFCBank for charging the premium for infinia and making slowly useless card. As a technology leader, I would love to understand this as I know bank pays heptic amount for vouchers.
