You can call me weak or privileged all you want but honestly if you’re someone who got their first job at 14 and has never once been jobless for an extended period of time so your longest breaks are maybe a week long vacation once a year IF that…. How are we supposed to keep going until we’re in our 70’s. I’m almost completely burnt out already and I’m 26 years old. Been working since I was 14 and never once was without a job. I worked all through college on top of an unpaid internship as well. I worked all through the pandemic (not at home either!!). I’m fucking exhausted. I’m sick of it. I don’t care what anyone who wants to ass fuck capitalism says. What the hell is this life?? We spend all our time working for someone else. We have to ask permission for breaks that may not even get approved. And most people are barely making it doing all this. What is the point??? I’m 26 and miserable because my life has never been my own.
