🚨 OMG, I almost got scammed while registering for my TDAC! 🚨
JKRs travelling to Thailand 🇹🇭✈️ PLEASE BE AWARE!
If you're travelling to Thailand, you need to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 3 days of your arrival (including the day you arrive).
I randomly received an email this morning telling me to complete my TDAC, which confused me because my trip is still more than 3 days away. I clicked through and started filling it out...
Then it tried to charge me US$35. 😳
🚩 THAT'S when I realised something was wrong.
The official TDAC is 100% FREE and you can only submit it within the 3-day window before arrival.
The website I ended up on was “Travel Smart Travel Fast” (travelsmarttravelfast. com). There are also multiple recent reports from travellers saying they were charged substantial fees for what is supposed to be a free TDAC service.
⚠️ DO NOT PAY FOR YOUR TDAC.
The ONLY official website to submit your TDAC is:
Thailand Digital Arrival Card — Official Thai Immigration website
Be especially careful if you Google “TDAC Thailand” — scam/third-party sites can appear in search results and can look very legitimate.
Please share this with anyone travelling to Thailand so they don't get caught out! ❤️🇹🇭
TDAC = FREE.
TDAC = within 3 days of arrival.

This is bigger than “LingOrm got another sponsor.” https://t.co/TGI8d75eLG is a global travel platform operating across 39 countries and regions, with 1.7M+ hotels and flights from 600+ airlines covering 3,400 airports in 220 countries and regions.
So why does LingOrm being connected to a travel platform like this matter?
Because their value extends beyond entertainment.
Thailand is actively recognizing fandom tourism as an economic opportunity. TAT and Grab have already used LingOrm as “Friends of Grab” to promote travel across Thailand, specifically targeting Thai Gen Z and international fans, including Chinese travelers. Their 2026 campaign promotes 55 emerging tourism cities, local restaurants, cultural festivals and travel experiences, with a three-language Thai/English/Chinese guidebook.
And the numbers show why their reach matters: TAT reported that the previous LingOrm-linked tourism campaign generated 2.3M+ engagements and more than 1M reposts within its first 24 hours on X.
That attention can translate into a very real tourism chain:
A fan discovers LingOrm → decides to attend an event in Thailand → books a flight → reserves a hotel → uses airport transfers and local transport → eats at restaurants → shops → visits attractions → extends the trip → and potentially returns again.
The ticket is only one part of that spending.
And this is happening within a tourism sector that welcomed more than 14 million international visitors and generated around ฿679 billion in tourism revenue by June 2, 2026, with TAT targeting ฿2.65 trillion in total tourism revenue for the year.
So when a major travel platform puts LingOrm within its ecosystem, I don't see it as simply another endorsement.
It is recognition that their influence can exist at the intersection of entertainment, commerce, travel and international consumer behavior.
Thai people should genuinely be proud of this.
LingOrm aren't just making people watch a Thai series.
They're giving international fans another reason to put Thailand on their itinerary. 🇹🇭✈️
And that is a different level of impact entirely.
