love that fills you up is nice, but iâd much rather a love that makes me feel lighter. my wholeness is my responsibility, all i ask is that you donât add more weight to my bag while i figure out different roads that lead me back to myself.
your inner child never truly dies. sometimes that part of you disappears for a brief amount time, but a lot of times, your inner child is just waiting to be woken up.
some nights youâll cry ur eyes out. some youâll laugh your head off. some days u wonât want to get out of bed. some days youâll be out the door before the sun is up. there will be lows & highs & hurting & living. and i truly believe youâll be okay through it all
Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Psalm 25:4â5
it is not your responsibility to be a version of yourself that you donât resonate with anymore just because people are more comfortable with who you used to be. you donât have to take steps back in your growth or relive what youâve outgrown just to keep certain connections alive.
