Proud to be part of #umorientation for the Agriculture Diploma Program. School looks a little different this year but the passion and dedication from both students and staff remains the same! #aggiesonce#proudtobeanalumni
Overall plant yellowing and stunting = N deficiency. Seeing patchy nodulation in fields with no history of soys, even with double inoculant. Result of dry seeding conditions? Need at least ~10 nodules/plant. See rescue N fertilizer response results: https://t.co/xI0nZf5uM8
Beware, it’s crop checking season and farmers rarely take the shortest route to town, and rarely come back home on the same road. They may move from one side of the road to the other and may go in reverse if they missed something.
Always a challenge moving equipment down the road, not only watch out for yourself but every other driver on the road. Gives new meaning to defensive driving. Stay safe
