@msgarcia721 Yeah… my worry is the filter… they won’t give us the standing filter because we have ac, but when that isn’t working, is it still filtering? Plus, no windows to open so no circulation.

That underlying stress that either I or my family are going to get COVID and bring it home. Got the close contact call for both kids. I still have 40 in 1 class and most others over. AC not working right. Not sure what that means for filter. We’re crowded. 😞

After my first day back, it hit me that my 10th graders haven’t been to school since 8th grade. I could tell within the first couple minutes of each class. Solidified the idea that the most important thing to do first is build relationships. Other things will have to wait!!

I am not emotionally ready to start teaching with some of my classes over the max and my total number over the max by 30. The anxiety about our safety is exhausting me. Maybe a miracle happens tonight.
