We need to start focusing less on what someone looks like and focus more on their actual character.
Someone can look amazing on the outside and be an absolute asshole. Meanwhile that guy/girl you bullied in high school probably has the biggest heart anybody has ever seen.
Reminder that social media is everyone's highlight reel. You're always seeing the post-production, edited, and scripted side of everyone's life.
Next time you start comparing yourself to another person, ask yourself, what am I not seeing?
Some people struggle to get in shape because they're too focused on proving why their conditions won't allow them to get in shape.
In reality, they should be trying to figure out how they can their conditions work for them.
Supplements should be the last thing you worry about with a fat loss goal.
Before you worry about supplements, worry about:
- Diet Adherence
- Being in a calorie deficit
- Eating enough protein & fiber
- Your step goal and/or training plan
- Sleep
Focus on creating a calorie deficit before you worry about supplements.
Focus on creating a calorie deficit before you try and train 6x a week
Focus on creating a calorie deficit before you worry about doing hours of cardio.
PSA to everyone who's joining the gym this month:
- Welcome!
- Nobody is judging you
- You deserve to be here
- We're proud of you for showing up
- Everyone starts as a beginner, so don't be afraid to ask questions.
We hope you crush all of your goals this year!
Stop blaming "busyness" as the reason for why you're out of shape.
You're always going to be busy. You might as well start while you're busy so that nothing can get in the way of you continuing down the road.
Most people don't have a time problem, they have a prioritization problem.
You'd reach your goals faster if you prioritized them over Netflix, video games, and TikTok.
The "best diet" isn't keto, low carb, Atkins, paleo, or carb cycling.
The "best diet" is whatever one you're able to stick to consistently for the long-term.
