I wrote about the kooky writer Elaine Kraf and her posthoumosly published novel MEMORY HOUSE. You can read it in print in the @Gagosian Mag, or online here: https://t.co/UJSL4YfjDw
Wrote about one of my favourite novelists @AmitChaudhuri — a true champion of the infra-ordinary, of the fragment, of life's minor characters — & how he escapes/resists the strictures of narrative and history. Thanks to @nyrbclassics and @thebafflermag for publishing 😊
I'm heartbroken by the Post's decision to eliminate its books coverage. The actual fact of my job aside, the existence of a standalone books section felt like a real celebration of a culture of literacy, dialogue, and even debate. It was a place to discover and celebrate.
wrote a bit about siegfried kracauer's weimar-era novel ginster (out from @nyrbclassics) for the washington post! a sort of mashup of musil and berlin alexanderplatz

My new novel, “My Lover, the Rabbi,” will be published by FSG in 2026. (I’m signed up there for a new book of essays, too.) Thanks to editor Jackson Howard and agent PJ Mark. @fsgbooks@FSGOriginals@JanklowNesbit
had the chance to write about the doyen of microfiction Augusto Monterroso's only novel (out from @nyrbclassics) for @thebafflermag! https://t.co/kqGCzNdsCA
