Join the Bainbridge Island Fire Department at 6:30 PM on Thursday, June 11th, at Nolta Loop NE for a special street dedication ceremony honoring Assistant Chief Gary Nolta.
We hope you will join us as we unveil a new sign recognizing Assistant Chief Nolta’s incredible legacy.
We train for the moments that matter. BIFD is constantly training to reduce the time between a 911 dispatch and crews completing a primary search to get an “all clear” during a structure fire. In the fire service, this is known as maintaining an aggressive search culture.
