@Vha_Ann@rumblepam But they needed Dave's help. They needed someone who could move them to the battle lines and ensure defenses held.
They whispered to Dave of the coming war and his role in it. But their whispers drove him further into madness, and Dave came up with a plan...
@Vha_Ann@rumblepam it would bring back some part of his beloved bf.
And the plants heard him. They heard his sorrow, and mourned with Dave for their Plant Dad.
The plants began to plot their revenge. They would destroy the zombies who had taken away their Dad...One. By. One.
@Tirabaki For the record (bc I like to make sure I credit people properly)
I'm ***pretty sure*** it was Chris Parker on an episode of Have You Been Paying Attention
@Tirabaki Can't remember where but someone made a joke that gay guys have Grindr and lesbians have the Bunnings Store locator app
(Australian hardware store for anyone outside of Oz)
@dreadpiratemick@ArtistAffame I second this advice - make them put it in writing so that you have evidence to take this higher up.
And hopefully the act of them writing "lack of hot water **in winter** is not an emergency" will turn their empathy back on, fucking ghouls π
@napkinx3 I had a few...some human, some not, some I'm not entirely sure about
I didn't "make them up", it was more like they turned up one day and we became friends (or at least someone to talk to)
Kind like in Drop Dead Fred
@noinconsistency Look that's a weird fucking question but I'm really just stuck on WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING WITH THAT BABY'S EYES?!?! Either AI done fucked up (again) or that baby is indestructible bc it's an optical illusion
@verstappw1n I've heard of it, but I think it was only one of my friend's parents who said that.
Our tradition is if the knife hits the plate then your candle wish won't come true
I'm in south Aust but don't know if that's a SA thing or an our family thing
@KymRob25112@ArtistAffame@JBollingmoore Absolutely agree, division keeps people occupied.
And by calling for 'social cohesion', they place all responsibility with the gen pop, avoiding the need to do anything substantial at the govt level (like address the inequality driving current division)
@GucciFeline I used to hear them all the time at my old house and was sad when we moved and didn't hear them anymore. But a group of them has been visiting the area over the last year so every now and again I get to hear them π
Kookaburras and magpies are my favourites
@purplepingers "The impact we're seeking is a safer environment for rough sleepers" - exactly how does taking away their bedding achieve this? Are the council providing a safe place to sleep until they give back the stuff they confiscated?
