I don’t understand what’s wrong with us asking for a major role. AAS fans can make a spreadsheet demanding that the main CP get 90% screen time, but we can’t? Is that double standards? You say TTP and AAS are friends, but in mfb, AAS， Ryujinpatji and Susu aren’t friends anymore?

First of all, i want to apologize. Originally, i didn’t think this should be brought up in front of all international fans. But i feel it’s necessary to explain to other international Vava why Chinese Vava have seemed so sensitive lately about ttp’s screentime in Friend Benefit.🙏

This conflict was fueled by irrational remarks from some fans from both fandoms. It does not mean Vava want to control the boys’ friendship or their actions.🙏

If you haven’t come across these comments, suggest you skip this post so you won’t get upset, please. 🙅🙅

From Chinese Vava’s perspective, we were the first ones targeted. When the Fanboy teaser dropped, we kept seeing comments across video platforms: “Hope aas doesn’t blow up like ttp, and doesn’t attract fans like ttp’s.” As we all know, “don’t be like…” is almost always used negatively. That was the first time we saw them being dragged for comparison and put down.😅

Then during the DMD Sports Day, Por received a lot of harsh bashing. As Vava, our frustration kept building.😡 After Fanboy aired, we saw more remarks: “fanboy will definitely be bigger than Duang With You”, “Duang With You is just a campus drama; our plot is way more interesting.” Once again, Duang With You was dragged into negative comparisons.😤

When the boys helped promote the show, there were comments like: “Having them guest is doing them a favor”, “TTP are only here to promote to leech off our hype.” To us, the boys put in genuine effort to help promote, yet they still got belittled.😦

Regarding Friend Benefit, we saw posts saying: “We’re the side couple, and even as a side couple we’ll outshine the main couple”, “Once Fanboy ends, our screentime in Friend Benefit will increase and it’ll turn into an ensemble show.” This new drama we’ve been eagerly waiting for was also caught up in these remarks.😱

Many Chinese vavas only support TTP. Duang With You is our white moonlight, and Friend Benefit is our new big hope. That’s why a lot of us couldn’t stay calm. At first, arguments only stayed on domestic platforms. Then we saw comments such as: “We (aas fans) can pressure DMD to give us more screentime”, “If you (ttp fans) are that upset, go ask DMD to swap the side couple.”😵

With all of this piling up, vava got overwhelmed and posted on X, asking DMD to ensure ttp's lead position in Friend Benefit.😣

More upsetting comments came afterward: “We don’t even want to be the side couple in your drama”, and some even said “Hope this drama gets scrapped and never starts filming.” It’s hard not to be angry when reading that, because this is the drama we’ve been looking forward to the most.😡

This is the backstory behind the recent tension between TTP fans and AAS fans from Chinese Vava’s point of view. When Vava @DMD on X, it was mostly an outburst from feeling helpless.🤕

We fully admit some of us also said things that went too far. When fandom fights heat up, hurtful comments come from both sides, and the conflict just keeps escalating.🙏

Also, during the backup dancer incident a few days ago, some Chinese aas fans left provocative comments wishing Dexx would disband.🤣

i just want to other Vava can understand, Chinese Vava didn’t start this for no reason. We only reacted after being pushed repeatedly.🙏

We never intended to interfere with the boys’ friendship or their choices, truly. But when we’re provoked, our words can easily be misread.🙅

Lastly, we apologize to all level-headed fans who love TTP and AAS. All this drama stems from a small group of irrational fans. Most people are just accidentally caught in the crossfire. We respect everyone who supports their idols in a healthy way ❤️💗

Some people really love playing the victim! First, even before their lead-role drama aired, they kept comparing their drama to ttp on short-video platforms, and they even kept trashing and insulting ttp—that's also the reason we don't like them.

Since 2025, AAS fans have been constantly attacking and insulting Por. Especially back when TTP wasn't that popular in China yet, whenever Por interacted with Auau, Por was always the one who got attacked.
