Dreams of Another: My latest game announced! Japanese Multimedia Artist. Music, Art, DJ. Creative Director at Q-Games. PixelJunk Eden, 4am/LBP2 日本語は→ @baiyon_jp
The latest game I directed "Dreams of Another" is announced for PS5/PS VR2! I began creating the concept from scratch, with art and sound, and took on new challenge of crafting the entire story, weaving in my doubts and struggles into the dialogue for all characters and objects.
Dreams of Another is currently being showcased at the BitSummit booth in the indie area of Vision Get Wild 2026 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan!
The event runs until tomorrow.
I used to spend some time around the Kaohsiung area while teaching at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, so this feels nostalgic for me.
“Iwaki Gami”
I heard that a man named Iwaki has been creating two sheets a day for over fifteen years, filling them with the names of things he loves.
There’s something really captivating about the unique groove of those densely packed words.

Hmyz / Alchymická pec / Kunstkamera — incredible.
Hmyz especially surprised me. I didn’t know storytelling like this was possible.
Nonfiction seeps into fiction, and at some point you lose track of what’s real.
That signature mix of humor and discomfort runs throughout—I found myself laughing while being completely absorbed.
@Beetlenaut I’m using Sony TCM-36, a pretty common portable cassette recorder. It has a built-in speaker, so I mess around with fast-forward and rewind, letting things pile up randomly.

I was featured in Sound & Recording Magazine for a 6-page deep dive into my home studio setup, gear, and field recording tools and methods, mainly focusing on Dreams of Another as well as my journey and history as a musician.
It’s in Japanese, but there are lots of photos of the gear — here’s a sneak peek.

"gradually reveal the inner thoughts and regrets of the objects and entities that fill its abstract lands [...] It’s a fascinating change of pace, and one to savour."
