Trump arrived in Turkey aboard the new Qatari-gifted Air Force One, but departed on the older classic one. The new jet flew ahead empty to a UK base for troops to tour it. It’s understandable as a gesture for the military. Still, switching planes mid-trip — especially with Iran tensions rising — does look unusual. The new aircraft reportedly lacks some full defensive systems the older ones already have. Legitimate questions about readiness aren’t crazy. Factos.

The US and Mexico handled politics very differently this World Cup:

🇺🇸 The US banned Iran from staying overnight on American soil, forcing them to base in Tijuana and fly in/out on match days.

🇲🇽 Despite a major diplomatic conflict since 2024, Mexico did not block the Ecuadorian team from normal preparations, training, or hotels. They chose to separate sports from politics and let the game happen naturally.

One side chose confrontation. The other chose pragmatism.
