Congratulations to the Indian contingent of Kanishk Jain, Riddhesh Anant Bendale, Rishit Garg, Shresth Suraiya and Svarit Joshi for winning Gold Medals at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026 held in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

Their feat reflects yet another example of the limitless potential of our Yuva Shakti and their passion towards science and research. Equally commendable is the fact that in the last decade, our students have performed exceptionally well in the various editions of this platform.

Pleased to have welcomed Hon. Mark Patterson, New Zealand's Minister for Rural Communities and Associate Minister of Agriculture & Regional Development along with members of the New Zealand delegation to Parliament House today.

The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening parliamentary exchanges and further deepening the longstanding ties between India and New Zealand. During the visit to Parliament House the delegation was introduced to India's vibrant parliamentary democracy, rich democratic traditions and architectural grandeur.

महाराष्ट्र के नासिक में अशोका हेल्थ सिटी का उद्घाटन किया। यह स्वास्थ्य परिसर उत्तर महाराष्ट्र के नागरिकों को आधुनिक, सुलभ और गुणवत्तापूर्ण चिकित्सा सेवाएँ उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है। इसके प्रथम चरण में सुपर मल्टीस्पेशलिटी हॉस्पिटल, कैंसर हॉस्पिटल, मदर एंड चाइल्ड हॉस्पिटल के साथ नर्सिंग एवं पैरामेडिकल शिक्षा संस्थानों की स्थापना की गई है।

Ashoka Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AIMSAR) द्वारा विकसित यह जनकल्याणकारी पहल सेवा, संवेदना और सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व का प्रेरक उदाहरण है। ऐसे संस्थान बेहतर उपचार के साथ चिकित्सा शिक्षा, अनुसंधान और नवाचार को भी नई दिशा प्रदान करते हैं।

यशस्वी प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में आयुष्मान भारत, जन औषधि, डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य मिशन और स्वास्थ्य अवसंरचना के विस्तार जैसी पहलों से देश में स्वास्थ्य सेवाएँ निरंतर सुदृढ़ हो रही हैं।

We deeply mourn the passing of Father Amir of State of Qatar, HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. A visionary leader who led Qatar to great levels of development and prosperity, we remember him also as a true friend whom I had the honour of meeting during my last visit to Qatar in February 2024. I convey my sincere condolences to the Amir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the entire royal family and people of Qatar. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
