Africa Is One Market, But Not for Africans

Africa has been treated as one big market for foreign goods, but Africans have been discouraged from treating Africa as one market for ourselves. The same people who tell us continental trade is too complicated have no problem moving their own products across our borders.

They want access to Africa’s market, but they do not want Africa to trade freely with itself. Because an Africa that trades with itself is an Africa that becomes stronger, more independent, and less dependent on foreign imports.

So when you see foreign products everywhere across the continent, while African products remain trapped inside their own countries, understand what you are looking at. Dependency by design.

The post 2020 migration spike wasn’t random, it was government engineered. Care visas expanded, BN(O) opened, Ukraine schemes launched, and universities were pushed to recruit internationally. People followed the rules the government wrote.

I have lived in the UK long enough to notice one thing that breaks my heart about Nigeria.

In Britain, an 80 year old woman knows exactly what her pension will be next month.

She plans her shopping around it. Books her holidays around it. Lives her dignity around it.

In Nigeria, an 80 year old man who served this country for 35 years is begging his children for feeding money.

And we call Britain a cold, individualistic society.

At least their old people are not dying of hunger in their children's parlours, too proud to ask for water.

We pride ourselves as "family-oriented" culture. But we have normalised leaving our elderly to rot while the government that took their best years lives in Abuja eating their future.

A society that cannot protect its old people has no business calling itself civilised.

A new POS scam is spreading quietly. 🚨

This is how money disappears from the accounts of parents, elderly people, and unsuspecting ones without them understanding how it happened.

When customers visit POS operators to withdraw cash, many casually say their PIN out loud or enter it carelessly. While pretending to count cash withdrawn or assist the customer, an accomplice quickly snaps the front of the ATM card and memorizes or writes down the expiry and 3-digit CVV code.

Weeks later (deliberately delayed after the transaction to avoid suspicion), the fraudsters use the card details and security code to make unauthorized online/web purchases that are extremely difficult to trace back to them.

Because many people use multiple POS agents on a weekly basis, the victims would never be able to pinpoint the exact POS agent who compromised their account.

Please warn your parents and older relatives:

—Never say your PIN out loud
—Shield the keypad while typing
—Never hand over your card unnecessarily
—Always keep your card in sight
—Disable online transactions on cards not used for web payments (if you can get to your bank)
—Use bank transfers for POS withdrawals if you can.

This important awareness could prevent your loved ones from losing their life savings.

Let me tell you guys a general phenomenon about people like this that blame immigrants for their problems.

First thing to note is that this happens everywhere in the world, the people who are part of such protest or propaganda against immigrants are usually not working class.

Your boss in the NHS won’t be part of such protest, because he knows how much you, an immigrant, contribute to the NHS, how hardworking you are and the impact you make in the hospital.

My boss in my office cannot be caught in such propaganda or protest because he knows how skilled I am, and the things I contribute to making my organisation better.

If you check properly, you can take this crowd in this video for instance, it’s usually the ones that are uneducated, lazy, possess zero skills, have no jobs, that are usually part of such. They’d rather blame immigrants than hold the government responsible.

I remember telling my white friend that I am not entitled to public funds as an immigrant, she could not believe it, I started to tell her how much I earn and how much tax I pay like normal citizens, plus I have no recourse to public funds, I can’t access council houses, my child can’t get any discount in nursery, etc. I also told her I paid £13k cash for school fees for my masters, not like them that have access to education loans and pay for 25 years. I told her I paid to use the NHS (of which I don’t even use), told her how much I paid in visa fees. All of these things, she did not know. That’s how politicians keep them uninformed.

I was on X when a racist lady was blaming immigrants in the UK for taking up all the housing and universal credit. I showed her data that 84% of universal credit users are UK/Irish Nationals. Refugees use up 1.7%, EU settlement scheme use up 9.7%, ILR use up 2.7%, etc. guess what, she could not say anything anymore. She did not know.

People will rather blame everybody except the government, these politicians and their tools like Tommy Robinson will also run with narratives.

Just check, anywhere you see such gatherings or people blaming immigrants, it’s either they’re jobless, lazy, unskilled, you won’t find your boss at work who is a working class, who has immigrants making his life easier in his work place, you won’t find him in such gatherings.

So many universities are laying people off because they’re broke. Guess what, these set of people protesting against immigrants didn’t know that the immigrant they’re blaming are the ones keeping the universities afloat due to the cash they’re bringing for the ridiculous school fees amounts, visa fees, IHS fees, etc.

Another woman on Twitter said at Oxford University school of medicine, Chinese make up about 40%, she went on to say British choose are supposed to train more British students. She has no idea the monies from those Chinese is what is keeping her husband or family member employed. At the moment, 50% UK universities are broke due to the change in immigration laws. The uneducated ones don’t know the impacts, but at least the government has satisfied them.

See how this woman in this video described Kanayo O. kanayo, complete lies made up from Nollywood movie. “Talmabout, they’ll give you thousand cedis, they’re calculating it”, an idiot and lazy woman…if you check the fool behind her shouting “Nigerians must go”, he probably doesn’t have a job and lazy to work.

To get married, someone out there needs to make a decision about you and it’s going to be based on what they see and hear. So change your ways.

We have UK based 30+ Christian women in our relationship group who are now happily married.

We have 2 strategies.

1) Constant Prayer plus the Word of God. That takes care of the spiritual angle.
