@John_Papa Ok that’s what I thought too, only thing is with getters we will have to write one liner code to return the state value and to access them in components where as mapState we don’t need to do that and can access that directly.
@getify Good idea. At my work @mutualofomaha, we put our private apps, modules, components @ moodxd(no space). Having @ puts moodxd in the top of node_module folder making it easy and quick to find.
@code it would be super rad if we could move code from left to right, vice versa when looking at git differences like in beyond compare. 3yrs since I moved from Sublime text and it just keeps getting better 🎉
@dan_abramov Another one would be knowing about scopes and how not to exploit the global scope, back then used to create IIFEs to create modules, now days it’s been easier with import exports to create modules with their own scopes.
@dan_abramov I don’t if this counts but, learning how to debug a code properly helps a lot too. In my first few years, I learned to properly use the chrome dev tool to break point at statements, step into, step thorough looking at the network tabs etc.
Hey @FrontendMasters, I see an UI bug in your website. As I scrolled down the page I get this screenshot on iPhone X. was able to recreate it multiple times.
@dan_abramov Is it about components in general or specific to React? I haven't used React yet but I have been doing components in Vue for sometime now and having some overall knowledge that I can use would be super awesome. Looking forward to it 😃
