Russian prison officials said they intercepted a cat being used as a drug mule to smuggle drugs into a penal colony in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod on Tuesday.
According to the Federal Penitentiary Service, the animal was carrying two homemade fabric collars containing prohibited substances that was intended to deliver them to inmates at Penal Colony No. 17.
Prison staff spotted the cat before it entered the facility, intercepted the animal, and confiscated the collars.
