i'm so serious i think the US needs to just ban resale of ANY goods/items for more than a 10% markup. Scalper industry would crumble across the board for tickets, collectables, everything.
@versifier146@jackcalifano None of the ones you named are even under $50 except for $47 which i don't really think its a flex to pay almost $50 to stand in a giant lawn to watch a mid level artist on an anniversary tour.
i don't think people can understand that at the height of their popularity i paid $150 for ONE DIRECTION FLOOR SEATS!!! It's not about popularity, not about production (they had huge stage setups). It's about TM being greedy bc there are too many people willing to pay too much
I’m sorry but if you didn’t start attending concerts until after Covid you cannot tell me 200 dollars is a reasonable price for general admission standing. You were brainwashed to think that because you don’t know how much concerts were before…

@versifier146@jackcalifano what i'm not seeing is anything backing up your claim that "they're $35 if you're not taylor swift". Whole spreadsheet just to prove yourself incorrect. Like i said, unless you're seeing a very small artist, tickets aren't less than $50
@versifier146@jackcalifano this simply isn't true. i see a ton of small artists and i haven't paid less than $50+fees in YEARS. Unless you live in a smaller city seeing really small artists then you are paying at least $50 + parking
