Please Boris, I have worked as an ITU Nurse throughout this pandemic, I have been to hell and back with my colleagues, my mental health is in ruins! I need this day of happiness! We have waited so long!
Spot on from @Keir_Starmer here - everyone involved with weddings, couples and businesses alike, didn't think the optics looked good. In fact, it looked like @BorisJohnson couldn't care less about 400,000 workers and more than a quarter of a million couples.

WE WANT TO WED @BorisJohnson!
✅ Remove the guest number cap
😷 Remove the need for guests to wear face masks
🥂Allow guests to drink and eat whilst standing up (just like you did at the G7)
💃🕺Allow dancing and remove all other restrictions on weddings
#whataboutweddings
I dearly hope @BorisJohnson makes the right announcement today, especially for Weddings and Civil Ceremonies.
It's heartbreaking hearing from couples who have to cancel or postpone for a 3rd/4th/5th time.
We need this.

#whataboutweddings - I work in the NHS and have seen first-hand the devastation that covid brings. But it MUST be possible to have safe, covid-secure weddings (at least in line with the 'safe, covid-secure sports events' going on) with more than 30 guests.
I'm not saying I believe all restrictions should be lifted from 21st june but I wholeheartedly believe that weddings hold no further risk than sporting events and the g7 - give weddings the parity they deserve #whataboutweddings
Weddings cannot just be postponed 2 weeks - venues/suppliers are already booked up to 2023 - do you expect each couple to book a further 2 years away despite many like me having to postpone already from last year?! Don't worry lads, the football is on though 🤦♀️#whataboutweddings
23 days till our wedding & we still don’t know how many guests can come.
Meanwhile thousands can attend football matches with vaccines or tests first! Our guests can do the same!
Come on @borisjohnsonuk
Weddings are an important life event!
#whataboutweddings
We were promised full summer weddings. July is our fourth date which was postponed originally from April last year. Full re-opening on 21st June. We are fed up of false promises. You had your big day @BorisJohnson so now we want ours #whataboutweddings
The wedding industry has been unfairly attacked throughout the entire pandemic… Why can’t we have more than 30? Show us the science… show us the data that says weddings are so dangerous? I truly don’t believe there is any… @BorisJohnson@MattHancock#whataboutweddings
Weddings cannot wait – weddings are milestone moments, important both culturally and economically, they cannot wait for your attention any longer @borisjohnson and neither should they have to after 15 months of inaction and ignorance.
