I’m starting to think I purchase too much produce on purpose so I have an excuse to bake! Today it was Chocolate Zucchini Cake AND Banana Snack Cake...it’s getting out of hand.
I'm doing a survey for my masters program about incorporating Inquiry-Based Learning in my classroom. I would really appreciate your feedback! The survey takes about 8 minutes. Take a bit to fill it out for me? Thanks! https://t.co/l9kYCUlhf7 #inquiry#edchat
@EdTechEJS Sure, I ordered “Make Just One Change: Teach Students to Ask Their Own Questions” by Dan Rothstein and Luz Santana. Can’t wait to get started on it! #cep812#MAET
@Hahne_Elyse Holding back and not saying "everything" in 1 post is tough sometimes. In my grad class our posts can only be 200-300 words...it's nearly impossible to say what I want to say in that range! #TeacherMyth
@aaron_hogan A3 - I'm very careful with personal information and anything that may identify a student or colleague without their permission. #TeacherMyth
@aaron_hogan The best blog posts are the ones that have our minds in gear, thinking, thinking, thinking for a long while after we've finished reading. #TeacherMyth
@aaron_hogan A1 - Conversation on a topic can be helpful when it encourages you to look at things from another perspective. Being close to a situation, with a lot of emotions, can sometimes cloud our view. #TeacherMyth
@LindsayLuft Cornmeal works fine and it’s usually what I use. Just sprinkle some on the peel before you put the dough on and it should slide right on to your stone. Sometimes I test it to make sure it will move a little before I try dropping it on my steel.
@LindsayLuft It looks great! Shape doesn’t matter nearly as much as taste and texture! Did you by any chance use some semolina or cornmeal under the dough to help it slide off the peel? That always helps for me.
@LindsayLuft @CaitlinKarram @WeverWorld When the iPad initiative was rolled out at my last district there was tons of training but otherwise no, it’s all been left to each teacher to figure out on their own. The students, at the high school level anyway, are a great resource. They know how everything works! #CEP810
@CaitlinKarram @WeverWorld I know this is going to really make my age apparent but when I was in high school the internet and email were just starting to emerge for the teachers, definitely not even on the radar for students. It has been amazing to watch the whole shift happen during my career! #CEP810
@LindsayLuft This is a great goal! We’re always more likely to reach a destination if we know where we’re headed as we travel and can identify landmarks along the way. #CEP810

@WeverWorld That’s what I’m hoping to get to in my baking classes. It would make it possible to get through more content and free up time for more baking labs. #CEP810
A2- one of my goals this year is to incorporate the flipped classroom model for some of my units of study. I have a scheduled PD for this topic and I’ve started identifyingthe units that would most naturally lend themselves to this idea. #CEP810
@LindsayLuft @WeverWorld @cyndy8412 @nbclearn @NAfME That’s a perfect addition to my list! I’m fairly new to Twitter and didn’t even think of finding my own district! Thanks @LindsayLuft #CEP810
