14/ Back to the beginning....why does leaving the House of Commons still involve a medieval-sounding detour via the Chiltern Hundreds or its less glamorous cousin the Manor of Northstead? We discussed this in a recent episode of our @HansardSociety podcast

I have been ordered to pay $95,000 in "damages" to two men in women's sport because I apparently hurt their feelings. It is potentially going to be doubled because I didn't pay in 30 days. So that is $190,000 in total to reward two men in women's sport. I am appealing in the NSW Supreme Court, so for now, there is a stay on the orders.
@salltweets has been ordered to pay a man $20,000 for not allowing him on her female only app. His hurt feelings claim is hoping to be challenged in the High Court. Sall is still waiting to see if leave will be granted for the appeal.
Jasmine Sussex could have to pay up to $95,000 to a man with hurt feelings who falsely claimed he could breastfeed a tiny baby. Her case is still to be heard by a Queensland tribunal.
None of these numbers include the court costs which run into millions.
Others have lost jobs, been censored, gaslit or threatened if they speak the truth or object to the lie that men can be women.
Men who wish they were women not only want to dominate our sports, spaces and services, they are also trying to make money as they go. It appears quite lucrative if they succeed.
Stand with us. Men are not women and we should never be penalized for stating the facts - especially in court where evidence and facts are meant to be paramount.
Notice how everything is an ‘establishment hit job’ for Nigel Farage?
…almost like ‘the establishment’ is what he calls anyone who asks him a question he doesn’t want to answer.
Forty three years after Declan Flynn was murdered, I stood in the Dáil today, during Pride month, as a gay man and said what many won’t.
This movement has been hijacked.
It no longer speaks for the people who built it.
One flag flies over this State. The Tricolour.
It unites us. It does not divide us into identity groups waiting for their month.
We marched for freedom from fear.
Not to become props for somebody else’s politics.

Did you know around 90% of NHS hospitals are prone to overheating due to inadequate ventilation and lack of air conditioning?
That’s an awful lot of patients and staff left to suffer every summer.
We think something needs to be done about it.
What about you?
BELGIUM: upcoming event on gender medicine, organised by concerned parents of trans-identifying children, has been hidden from event listings as it is considered discriminatory or even “hate speech”.
This is Afghanistan for children and young girls banned from education under Taliban rule.
The regulations state that the silence of a “virgin girl” may be interpreted as consent to marriage.
Human rights groups report that the price of a child bride ranges between $500 and $3,000.
According to Girls Not Brides, nearly one-third of Afghan girls are married before the age of 18.
Under the Taliban’s horrifying new rules, a female child legally married to an adult man may later seek an annulment “upon puberty”, but only if a Taliban court approves it.
1703 days since the Taliban BANNED girls from going to school. Afghanistan is ONLY country in the world that has made education a crime for teenage girls.
These empty girls' classrooms symbolize a grave violation of human rights. The world's silence will not be forgotten.🙏
🚨Islamic Regime Hanged a 32-Year-Old Civil Engineer This Morning
Ehsan Afarashteh was only 32.
He had a Master’s in civil engineering and worked as an IT and cybersecurity specialist from Isfahan.
He was living safely in Turkey, but the barbaric regime tricked his father: “Tell your son to come home, he’s safe.”
His father believed them and called Ehsan.
Ehsan trusted his dad and returned.
Then they arrested him at the airport.
Tortured him in solitary for months.
Forced a fake confession.
When his father heard they sentenced his son to death, his heart stopped beating and he passed away.
This morning, the Islamic Regime hanged Ehsan anyway.
A good young man who just wanted to come home.
They destroyed his whole family and killed him in silence.
We’re losing our brightest young people, one by one, every single day.
While the world looks away.
This is Iran under the Islamic Republic.

DECENCY!
"What's he doing?"

"Name just one thing he's done"
Well, recently, he kept us out of the Iranian war! Left to Farage + Badenough, we would have joined
"Anything else?"

I graduated with a degree in anxiety
"When the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, I was in 12th grade.
It was my final year of school — the year I was supposed to prepare for university, for my future, for the life I had dreamed of for so long.
I wanted to become a doctor.
Or maybe a university professor.
Or simply a woman who could stand on her own feet.
But one morning, the school gates were closed.
They said, “Girls are not allowed until further notice.”
That “further notice” never came.
Four and a half years have passed.
Four and a half years in which, instead of attending university, I sat inside my home.
I enrolled in the “home university of stress and despair.”
Every day I completed another course in fear, humiliation, and forced silence.
Every night I went to sleep knowing my future had been stolen.
I graduated with a degree in anxiety.
And after graduation?
No office can hire me — because I am not allowed to work.
No university can accept me — because my existence is treated as a crime.
Now I work in the field of unemployment, poverty, and hopelessness.
Our salary?
Forced marriage.
Or the kind of pressure that pushes a girl toward suicide.
I am still alive.
But my dreams are not.
My future cannot breathe.
This is not just my story.
This is the story of millions of Afghan girls who were taken from their classrooms and locked inside their homes.
Thank you to everyone who watched, who stayed silent, who allowed us to be pushed from our desks to the edge of darkness."
