I think taking a moment like this outside the context and putting it under a microscope loses the nuance that this scene originally gave. This is where we peel the layers back on Bakugo’s POV because Deku’s argument could be seen as looking down on him.

I wish Bakugo got a reality check by an adult after this exam.

Aizawa having a sit down with him and genuinely bringing up expulsion as a possible consequence due to not just the hit but all his behavior towards Deku at this point but nah...it just gets glossed over by all the teachers watching. It pisses me off more cause the teachers had to review video footage of this to give them scores so they all saw Bakugo hit Deku in 4k...

He admired All Might TOO much that he didn’t put faith in Bakugo or himself to find a path to victory. Bakugo had the Shonen Protag mindset in this case. Until his weakness overcame him and the punch happened.

The exam itself was a reality check by the adults. He had to pass with Izuku. That was the test. AND HE DID. He threw his body on the line, PROTECTING DEKU, in order to win. Why would they double lecture him after working with Deku to pass?!
