@FouBeatz That could be another possibility like boxing gloves ect? But something many people don't know is from a skin we don't just make leather we make collagen also. The keratin can be used as a fertiliser or it can have the proteins extracted from it and used for stuff like plasters

@FouBeatz Its a new process during liming stages of leather making where in some of the first process the hair is chemically burned off the hides and sent to effluent thus mean needing treated so with the new developments we are making the hair immunised then filtered from the sytstems

Preservation is key.

Salted material can last up to 6months to a year and we use around 20kg of salt per hide.

Also working on cleaner technologies to eliminate the use of salt.
