The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began.
The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start.
Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have.
If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
We are the children of history, born from an ancient civilization, from a land where poetry and wisdom have flourished, from a homeland whose cultural light has shone upon the world.
Iran is not merely a name on a map, but a living spirit in the heart of every free human being. We are the heirs of Cyrus, Ferdowsi, and Hafez, the guardians of truth, justice, and compassion.
Those who seek harm or aggression shall never triumph, for our strength lies not in destruction, but in knowledge, dignity, and humanity.
We have been history, and we shall remain history— not through domination, but through enlightenment. And those who insist the oppression and violence and war ,will sink into the dust of time and be forgotten.
Iran lives forever— in the voice of poetry, in the gaze of wisdom, and in the heart of every Iranian who lives with honor and love.
The solidarity and cooperation among regional states right now is of utmost importance.
Peace-loving Muslim leaders are standing shoulder to shoulder to facilitate peace. This is happening at a very sensitive time. History will record it all.
Eid Mubarak to all dear Muslims
Greta Thunberg:
“Israel named me the second most dangerous antisemite in the world.
Because I use terms like ‘genocide,’ ‘siege,’ and ‘mass starvation’ to describe what is happening in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the genocide continues.
Israel just passed a new law to impose death penalty based on race only for Palestinians.
This is apartheid.
We must demand sanctions, accountability for war criminals, and an end to our complicity in genocide and apartheid. It is the bare fucking minimum.”
One of the individuals close to the negotiating team told me that unreasonable demands from the Trump regime are still hindering the establishment of the desired framework. The Iranian team insists on its demands and conditions to solidify the military achievements it has gained. However, there may be another round of negotiations tonight or tomorrow, aimed at making a final effort to reach an acceptable framework.
The aircraft that took the Iranian negotiators to Pakistan was called Minab 168 for the 168 girls killed by the US-Israelis. It carried not just their photos on 168 seats but also their backpacks. It was a powerful symbol of what the negotiators carried with them in their hearts. They came to negotiate with them in mind. No more war.
The new price of petrol is Rs 458.41 per litre. It was increased by Rs 134 per litre last night. This increase includes an increase of Rs 55 in petroleum levy. So the government decided to increase tax on petrol by Rs 55 at the same time it was raising prices.
So let’s understand this. The government last night raised petrol prices by Rs 79 per litre but at the same time also decided to raise taxes on petrol by Rs 55 for a total increase of Rs 134 per litre. And it keeps saying it doesn’t want to burden the people and wants to lift the burden itself. Theek ho gaya.
Stone Age?
At a time when you were still in caves searching for fire, we were inscribing human rights on the Cyrus Cylinder.
We endured the storm of Alexander and the Mongol invasions and remained; because Iran is not just a country, it is a civilization.
Every empire needs a local partner willing to do what the empire cannot be seen doing. In the contemporary Middle East, that partner is Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and this piece traces the full architecture of what he has built: the financial stranglehold over Pakistan that cleared the way for a compliant Muslim world, the Abraham Accords that gave Israel Arab cover through a gen0cide, the military network across the Horn of Africa that serves Washington and Tel Aviv from Somali soil, and the systematic management of Saudi Arabia's crown prince away from any foreign policy that might threaten the design. MBZ is not a passive beneficiary of American and Israeli power. He is its Arab operating system, and the chaos consuming the region from Gaza to Khartoum to Tehran is not the unintended consequence of his strategy. It is the entire point.

Professor Marandi brutally dismantles Western racist propaganda. He points out Iran's President is a heart surgeon and their officials are university professors of Western philosophy, while the US media calls them "mad mullahs" to justify mass murder.
Iranian leadership: Let's build nuclear centrifuges and enrich uranium.
Saudi leadership: Let's build another luxury hotel, but with a clock on top of it, like Big Ben.
Iranian leadership: Drones are the weapon of the future. Let's build the cheapest, most effective kind.
Saudi leadership: Let's build a random city in the desert, but make it a line and give it a cool name like Neom.
Iranian leadership: Ballistic missiles will establish deterrence. Let's become a global leader in hypersonics.
Saudi leadership: Let's build the biggest cube-shaped shopping mall in the world.
Over 100 million Indians were killed by the British Raj!
As a student of the British school system, I had no idea about its ugly history.
My father is the one who planted that seed of knowledge which bloomed into a lifetime of learning about the savagery of European colonialism and western imperialism.
What I do remember learning extensively and intensively about in school, though, and through popular culture in later life (films, literature etc) is “THE Holocaust that killed 6 million Jews”. I mean, it was almost as though no other holocaust has ever been committed in history.
You see, there is the TERM holocaust and then there’s THE Holocaust, apparently.
We all know what THE Holocaust is because it’s been drip-fed to us our entire lives, but our brains seem to have become incapable (or forced incapable) of computing that the TERM can and must be applied to ANY “destruction or slaughter on a mass scale”.
By that measure, yes, of course what we have seen in Palestine is a holocaust, and no, it is not antisemitic to say that out loud, no matter how much Zionists scream that accusation at you.
The purposeful exclusion of other historical holocausts and genocides, committed by the so-called “bastions of morality” in most of our western education is the reason why we are no longer able to think freely, critically, and apply that term accurately, and that should alarm us all.
We have been intentionally taught through formal education and conditioned via popular culture, through Zionist co-opting and exploiting of Jewish pain and suffering, to believe that the holocaust was not just one of the worst, but THE worst atrocity in human history.
THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.
And the only way for us to deprogram ourselves, and to what I like to call “dezionise” our theory and praxis, is to go back and re-educate ourselves.
Shameful day for the U.N. Security Council
Months after its adoption of Resolution 2803 in November 2025 on the Gaza “Peace Plan”, the UNSC has yet again shown why it is a complete failure in maintaining international peace and security
The Council has been completely silent on the blatant disregard of international law by the US and Israel - the aggressors in the war - who attacked Iran without any legal justification and have been committing egregious war crimes on a daily basis including attacking schools and other civilian targets in Iran and Lebanon
It has instead only condemned Iran “in the strongest terms”, and has called on Iran to fully comply with its obligations under international law
With such blatantly selective and discriminatory enforcement of international legal obligations and utter disregard of human suffering and state sovereignty, it is no surprise the Council has become a laughing stock, and worse, is considered a handmaiden of empire
today in Current Affairs, an extraordinary essay from Norman Finkelstein on how US rhetoric justifying the expulsion of the Cherokee was the mirror image of contemporary Israeli rhetoric about Palestinians
