"I learned the value of money. Many of you kept asking why do you wear one shirt? The process of drying is easier. You wash it in the evening, morning it is ready. What we speak does not come from the ties but I respect the protocols of the August house."

Earlier today, together with all MPs from Maracha, we visited Loinya Health Centre III in Maracha District.
We were informed that 2 years ago over UGX 650 million was budgeted for the construction and upgrading of the health centre. However, on the ground, nothing has been built not even a toilet. All we found was a signpost installed recently upgrading a facility with 1 bed as health center 3 grade .
This raises very serious questions about the utilization of public funds and accountability in Maracha District. If the UGX 650 million was released, where did the money go, who received it, who authorized the expenditure, and where are the works?
We shall follow the money and demand answers. Public funds belong to the people of Maracha and must be used to deliver essential services not diverted for personal benefit.
Enough is enough. We must stop the theft and wastage of public resources.
HAPPENING NOW IN MARACHA!
The Expose the Corrupt Baraza is underway in Ongoro, Agai Town Council, Maracha District.
We are on the ground listening to citizens, examining service delivery, and demanding accountability over the use of public resources.
Tune in to @ubctvuganda at 11:00 PM tonight for live coverage of the Baraza and follow the proceedings as we continue the fight against corruption and misuse of public resources.
Expose the Corrupt . Enough is enough .
Time check: 2:00am. The people of Maracha had a lot to tell me. What we witnessed was deeply disturbing. The district appears to have suffered from serious accountability failures, with allegations that public funds meant for bridges, hospitals and schools were repeatedly mismanaged over the past 15 years.
How do you “eat” funds meant to build an entire bridge, equip a hospital or improve schools? This must stop.
Public resources belong to the people, and those entrusted with them must be held accountable. We shall continue exposing corruption and demanding that every shilling serves its intended purpose.
Next stop: Moyo District today.
In Moyo for the Expose the Corrupt rally, I extend my sincere appreciation to Hon. Tom Aza, Minister of State for Trade in charge of Cooperatives, and Hon. Kadoli, Woman Member of Parliament, for the warm reception and hospitality.
Together, we must continue the fight for accountability, transparency and responsible use of public resources.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to pass the torch and demote myself to my natural state: a poster. I'll be stepping back from leading product for 𝕏 and will continue on as an advisor.
Serving the X community has been the privilege of a lifetime. X is, and will remain, the most important communication technology in history. But running this app is a 24/7 job and it's now time for me to take a breather.
The app is seeing unprecedented growth in new users & engagement. We continue to break records every month. We've climbed 70 spots in the App Store since this time last year.
And in the last 400 days, we rebuilt almost every aspect of X: the Timeline, the Android app, onboarding, notifications, chat and more.
We also launched nearly 30 new products while protecting the integrity of the town square: becoming the first app to show Country-of-Origin on profiles and mounting defenses against AI bots. There's certainly much more work to be done, but our foundation is stronger than ever.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible team here. The next leaders will take X to even greater heights with @benjitaylor on design, @singhai on core product engineering and @dinkin_flickaa on mobile engineering -- among many other great people.
Thank you to Elon and the X team for welcoming me into the company. See you on the Timeline.
