When the government ‘pays for’ Defense instead of fully funding public colleges, you are essentially sending young people to the armed services instead of sending them to college. It’s pretty simple. The spending provisions real resources (youth, in this case) #LearnMMT
Liberal Zionists are just Israel supporters who want Israel to have better PR. They desire an attractive, charming, Obama-style Israel which murders and abuses Palestinians discreetly while peddling the "two-state solution" myth and uttering flowery prose about equality and peace. They dislike the Trump-style Israel of today which makes no effort to conceal its monstrousness.
Unfortunately for them, today's Israel is the only Israel on the menu. Turns out you can't set up a racist state built on a racist ideology without that state coming to be dominated by overt and vocal racists. The Trump-style Israel which has given rise to Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir and Smotrich is the natural culmination of everything that Israel is and has always been.
There is no going back. Your liberal nice guy mask will never fit over the face of Israel again. The world will forevermore see the Zionist project for what it is. That toothpaste is never going back in the tube.
Now it's just a matter of the world coming together to dismantle a genocidal apartheid state. Because we all know that's what needs to be done.
AKSC’s 7th Conference
Democracy : Promise vs Practice- How Law, Culture and AI Control the Narrative
📅 Saturday, Sept 26 | 🕔 9:00 AM–6:30 PM | 📍 Los Cerritos Community Center 3377 Alder Ave, Fremont, CA 94536

Our lives are regulated by legal and social codes. Legal codes, or laws, are written but often applied selectively. Social codes are unwritten but strictly observed. Legal and social codes interact to uphold systems of oppression, the status quo.
Understanding these challenges is essential to building an effective collective response. People secure their rights only through organized community, social, and political action.
AKSC’s 7th conference will examine these issues in depth through panels on law, culture, technology, and politics. AKSC firmly believes in organized collective action rather than individual, anarchic responses. This conference offers like-minded people an opportunity to come together, organize, and build a collective response.
We look forward to seeing you at our 7th conference.
Suhag Shukla of the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) recently posted:
"... Sadhana Gollapudi was dancing in front of her own home, minding her own business. Then an anonymous troll account decided to make her the target of a false accusation, leading to doxxing and federal attention. What does this say about online mobs, misinformation, and the real-world consequences of acting on unverified claims?"
https://t.co/y2FtqNbMYH
Seriously, Suhag wants us to believe that HAF is truly concerned about "online mobs, misinformation, and the real-world consequences of acting on unverified claims?"
While I empathize with Ms. Gollapudi, this is another case of HAF "projecting" its own history of unethical tactics upon others. As one of the five victims of false accusations and a frivolous lawsuit by the HAF, and the target of a HAF mob during the caste bill debate in CA (SB 403), I can personally vouch for HAF's uneasy relationship with the truth and their "real-world consequences" for me and my family. In our case, the outpouring of support and pro-bono help, quickly led to the truth, and HAF lost.
Unfortunately, for some people in a similar situation in India, the real-world consequences of misinformation spread by HAF's ideological siblings, RSS/VHP/Bajrang Dal, have been mob lynching and often death!
e.g., Mohammad Akhlaq and his son were minding their own business inside their home when they were dragged out and attacked on a mere rumor that they had stored beef in their home. Mohammed was stoned to death and his son was seriously injured. They are just one example of hundreds of beef-related assaults on minorities in BJP-ruled U.P. https://t.co/JgVfU0KbUg
Dishonest words too have real-world consequences, Suhag. Yours have just demonstrated the hypocrisy and hollowness of Hindutva.

The Anti-Caste American Civil Rights pioneer, Dr. Martin Luther King Movement is Winning!
The historic bill A6920/S6531 sought to explicitly prohibit discrimination based on a person's caste in employment, housing, and public accommodations in New York. This critical legislation secured the support of 24 Assembly members and 11 Senators before the close of the legislative session on June 4, 2026.

✊🏽 Massachusetts sets history for the working class. Massachusetts became the first American state to formally recognize a union for app-based drivers. 🚖 The App Drivers Union will represent around 70,000 drivers. Last November, the Massachusetts electorate voted 54% in favor through a ballot measure that enabled ride-share and app-based workers to unionize.
It is one of the most diverse unions in the country in terms of national origin, race, and gender. Workers from various national and racial backgrounds came together to build this union.
App-based workers are one of the most exploited sections of the working class. For years, they were denied basic workers’ rights under the guise of “flexible working hours,” “independent work,” and lack of direct supervision. Companies like Uber and Lyft have built massive profits primarily through owning and managing software platforms.
🔥 This is a historic victory for workers and organized labor. California and Illinois may follow a similar path soon now that key legal hurdles have been cleared in those states. ✊🏿

Living Smile Vidya is originally from Tamil Nadu, India, and is currently based in Switzerland.
Humanitarian activists—including from our own community—joined a flotilla to provide aid to Gaza residents.
I demand answers to reports that Israeli officials assaulted and mistreated unarmed activists detained by Israeli ships in international waters. My team has communicated with the State Department, and we seek clarity from the Israeli government. Every detained participant in this humanitarian venture must receive fair treatment, due process, and access to appropriate consular support.
@FriedrichPieter Which organization are you referring to here when you say Rakhi serves on “a board seat on an institution India's government launched.”?
A statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was installed and inaugurated at the Shri Guru Ravidass Gurdwara in Pittsburg, California, as part of the 135th Birth Anniversary celebrations on April 19, 2026. The site at 2220 Crestview Drive also hosts a new library and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Education Center to honor his legacy.
Access to social and cultural capital, along with entry into elite institutions in India and US immigration reforms during the 1950s, enabled many individuals from the so-called upper castes to migrate at an early stage. They arrived as skilled laborers and accumulated wealth, establishing themselves as one of the most prosperous immigrant groups in the United States.
This wealth has fueled their political aspirations. Publicly, they portray themselves as progressive individuals of color and advocate for racial justice. However, they simultaneously deny or remain silent regarding caste discrimination within their own communities in the United States, while also endorsing regressive and often violent political actions against marginalized groups in India.
They navigate between the Democratic and Republican parties as it benefits them. The Democratic Party frequently acts as a convenient platform, allowing both progressive rhetoric and regressive stances to coexist.
The defeat of Raja Krishnamoorthi should be understood within this framework. His connections to Hindu supremacist organizations are widely recognized.
@FriedrichPieter has meticulously documented the impact of Hindu supremacy on the American political scene. He joins us to discuss how the Hindu supremacist movement seeks to influence American politics, manipulate the discourse of justice, and suppress dissenting voices.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's (book title: The Problem of the Rupee, based on his dissertation thesis at the London School of Economics) suggestions were taken into consideration by the Hilton Young Commission (1928), which set the foundation for the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The RBI was founded on April 1st, 1935, as a result of his support for a managed currency system and an independent central bank to regulate credit and control inflation.Strong autonomy, scientific and rule-based, gold standard discipline, and guardian of the economy are all part of Ambedkar's vision for the RBI.
