@pickover I guess a line for the proof could be: (F_n)^(1/n)=exp(1/n log F_n)=exp[ 1/n sum_i log (F_i / F_(i-1) )]
Asimptotically the log term should goes to log Phi, so I think that the sum should go closer and closer to n log Phi...

@pickover Given x, the probability of N(x) is proportional to x^N. So P(N)= x^N*(1-x) and E[N|x]=x/(1-x). The overall expected score is the integral over x (uniform probability) that diverges.

This year’s #NobelPrize laureate in physics John Hopfield created an associative memory that can store and reconstruct images and other types of patterns in data.

The Hopfield network can store patterns and has a method for recreating them. When the network is given an incomplete or slightly distorted pattern, the method can find the stored pattern that is most similar.
