This may be the smartest thing I've ever done.
Stale donuts can be made fresh again by putting a little water on the bottom, wrapping it in tin foil and put it in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 150⁰C
Comes out like fresh.

Always wondered why in the archaeological excavation of tombs they can't cut halfway through the entrance or wall, create an air tight seal and put a drone inside. The drone then cuts through the other side and puts an air tight seal on it.
