@JoRigby_Balham I appreciate the efforts of the Council to remove discarded trees. But Twelfth Night, by when trees are traditionally taken down, is 3 days before the collection programme begins. Would it not be good for its start to coincide with Twelfth Night (which happens to be a Friday)?
Presumably someone who (a) doesn’t care what might be convenient for residents or (b) is looking for an excuse to stop Christmas tree collection altogether.

Disappointed by the closure of Daisy in Clapham South. Surprised, too, as the place was generally busy and rammed at weekends. Trading conditions for restaurants are tough, but this one is a head-scratcher.
