As a Croatian, it was heartbreaking to witness a grand-scale robbery taking place in front of billions of people. Favoritism is something that FIFA and UEFA continue to be scrutinized for, yet little changes. What is VAR really for?
On the other hand, you can’t have three defenders allowing an isolated attacker to score like that. -Huge miscalculation. We can cry all we want, but that was on us.

So congrats to Portugal; they wanted it as bad as we did. But firstly, congrats to our boys who left their hearts on the field and once again showed that a small country can keep up with the big boys.
