The Chargers uniform situation is honestly a disgrace. They brought back their identity only to dilute it.

The Yankees wear pinstripes. Chargers wear powder blue. That’s supposed to be their identifier. But wait, it’s the wrong blue now. It’s more like bubble gum blue. Why?

And then they had to…add blue pants? For what? You don’t even sell that to fans, why dilute the identity? And why sometimes white socks, sometimes blue? For what?

…How about a yellow uniform? Like piss. Oh, mix and match that too! Yellow and white even. The research indicates it will sell well!

Now the only decent uniform is the navy. A “throwback” to a time which the fans wanted… powder blue. How did they mess this up so bad? You can no longer look past the blue not even being the correct shade. It’s a shame.

Hall of fame back @LT_21 was one of the best players in football, and in January of 2008 he had the @chargers one game away from the Super Bowl.

The lasting memory is LT, his dark visor, & long coat watching his team fall to the @Patriots in the AFC Championship… He’d injured his knee the week before, but tried to give it a go. After being walked down by @TedyBruschi he knew he just couldn’t be himself. He was relegated to spectator the rest of the day. Michael Turner was a good back up, but he was no LT!
