Titans QB battle will play out in training camp.

My main bone of contention with Jim Harbaugh is it shouldn’t take a week or needing “take a look at everything” to fire Mike McDaniel. The data is clear. Mike should’ve been fired yesterday

Maybe I overreacted and it’s not ownership. Jim Harbaugh has a track record of remaining fiercely loyal to his players and coaches to the bitter end. So it could be Jim and that eventually will cost him his job.

The Chargers probably never dreamed of firing McDaniel week 6, but its organizational malpractice having Adam Gase as the contingency plan.

This would be the most logical approach in my opinion.

Marty Schottenheimer replaced DC Dale Lindsey with Wade Phillips after 2003. The Chargers went from 4–12 to 12–4 in 2004, then 14–2 in 2006.

Jim has a history of knowing how to coach. Sometimes the answer isn’t replacing the head coach. It’s finding the best coordinators to surround him.

Probably the right move. The players especially the defense are still playing hard for Jim. Jim can still find defensive coaching talent. The new OC will hopefully be young and be groomed to be the next HC, which I think was the plan with McDaniel. Hortiz needs to pay also, I’d elevate Chad Alexander.
