@813Casual@hd2352@kingdotii@NickCRadio I left two replies because 140 characters wasn’t enough for what i wanted to say. I don’t see a problem with that 😂
@813Casual@hd2352@kingdotii@NickCRadio And those games used to get real chippy. So trading to the Nets with same PG who denying us finals trips now coaching the team. It was a gut punch because of that too. To the second point, there’s no way you can spin the Fultz move as anything other than a bold trade to a rival
@813Casual@hd2352@kingdotii@NickCRadio Yeah everyone knew they were kinda washed but as the 4th and 5th starters with their existing core they had chip aspirations for sure and not many were scoffing at it. Also BK not being a rival is funny, the NJ Nets beat us twice in the conference finals in the early 2000’s
@813Casual@hd2352@kingdotii@NickCRadio So besides the IT trade in the moment the consensus was Boston just got fleeced and setup a Nets superteam. People were also terrified that Danny gave the Sixers the #1 pick and that a Fultz, Simmons, and Embiid core would wreck the league for a decade.
@hd2352@kingdotii@NickCRadio Traded Pierce and KG to the Nets, IT to Cleveland, and the #1 pick to Sixers in 2017. Danny didn’t seem to mind trading to divisional or current rivals
The Celtics, Pistons, and Rockets discussed a three-team trade that would’ve sent Alperen Sengun to Boston, Kevin Durant to Detroit, and Jaylen Brown to Houston, per @BrettSiegelNBA
“There were talks about a Kevin Durant trade involving Jaylen Brown and Alperen Sengun… Kevin Durant would’ve gone to the Pistons… The Celtics were gonna get Alperen Sengun and then Jaylen Brown would’ve gone to the Rockets… Ultimately Houston did not want that type of package.”

Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III has agreed to sign a three-year, $44 million contract extension to return to the Portland Trail Blazers through 2028-29, agent Kevin Bradbury of LIFT Sports Management tells ESPN.
I’m sure everyone will react to this rationally, but if Celtics determined they can’t build a contender with 2 semi redundant Supermax guys and one of them is untradable for anything close to value, at what point do you start considering exploring the market for Jayson Tatum?
