we will get 5 or so solid seasons out of him, maybe a slight overpay, but that’s down to berta being a clown.

got to say i’m pretty happy with the konsa deal overall. like his profile, looks to be a courageous, progressive passer, good dueller and solid aerially, functional base etc…

i’m yet to see how effective he is offensively, was always going to be tough to replace ben white.

we haven’t signed him specifically to cover Saliba’s absence.

ben white is likely to depart next window, he’s not physically inept enough to give us the reliability we need with the amount of football we will play.

this is why saliba / gabriel is still a debate.

gabriel is very ‘last ditch’. casual fans love seeing the huge blocks and passion.

saliba’s athleticism and intelligence allows him to destroy potential threat before it materialises.
