I can only relate to people who are/were willing to do whatever it took to make it.
Taking a job they didn't want to take, relocating to an area they didn't want to, joining the military, going to trade school, sacrificing for college, working multiple jobs...whatever it takes.
My view on cheating is that if your only reason not to do it is love for your partner, you might still do it one day. The commitment has to come from within. It should be a personal principle, a value you live by. Something you would never choose to do as part of your identity.
