Rodri came into the game yesterday and suddenly Barca felt safer in the defense.. He immediately gave barcelona something we desperately needed for a very long time; security in the defense.

I'm curious to see how Hansi flick combine his ability with Pedri's because i saw the reason De la fuente decided to bench Pedri at the latter stage of the world cup. The attack becomes slower with Rodri and the ball wasn't really going forward which was the reason De la fuente had to bring in Fabian to start over pedri in the WC knockout games.

Pedri will have to connect more with the attackers, operate between the lines, move the ball forward more often and take more risks while Rodri protect the defense. I can't wait to see how he fair under Hansi Flick system.

If there’s any player who should be playing alongside Anderson in this lineup, it’s O’Reily while Gvardiol play as the LB.

Sometimes I wonder what goes through the mind of these coaches. Maresca kept on playing Guehi as a double pivot when he has Kovacic on the bench while also just signing Bouaddi from Lille.

I hope to see how he fair again in that position tonight because it’s not going to be an easy game against Crystal palace.

I’m predicting Crystal 2-1 Man city. City would be lucky to get a draw here.
