Disgraceful. Absolutely shameful 💔
The Free Palestine movement destroyed wreaths and a tribute to the fallen at the Battle of Britain memorial in London today.
We can’t go on like this.

After the Green Party's "Zionism is Racism" vote, the Leader of Haringey Council, which is controlled by the Greens, wrote to various Synagogues in the borough to "reassure" them.
I want to show you Highgate Synagogue's reply. I believe it is worth reading in its entirety.
Jew hatred is the new fascism, eagerly embraced by the ignorant and the downright foolish combined.
If we don’t protect Israel and the Jews from this insane hatred we’ll go the same way as the demonic regimes of the recent past.
Jew hatred is actually the hatred of all of us who refuse to bow the knee to rabid totalitarianism, whether religious or ideological.
Well done @simon_schama

“I’m very sorry for all the victims of a horrific and unprecedented mass killing that displayed the very worst elements of human psychosis.
“I’m also very sorry that the perpetrators, my type of people, were caught and killed.
“And I’m very sorry that the criminal Nazis who instigated the war have lost and are now facing the full consequence of their hubris.”
Mainstream parties need to maintain a firewall against antisemitism. The Greens have put themselves on the wrong side of it through their grotesque decision to define Zionism, which is simply the belief that Israel should exist and that Jewish people have a right to national self-determination, as being racist. I hope the electorate will react by pushing them into political oblivion, but there are no circumstances where Labour or any other mainstream party can share power with a party professing an ideology that breaches the IHRA definition of antisemitism.
I have long called attention to the “toxification of Jewish life” making anything associated with Jews — organizations, cultural entities, authors, actors — toxic, off limits, rejected. The story the film tells and the rejection of it are prime examples of this trend.
I agree with Howard Jacobson.
I am not a Jew, but simply cannot understand the levels of hatred sustained by some humans to their fellow humans. I understand that extreme religion drives some of this animosity, but what about the rest? It’s unconscionable bigotry in which the existence of Israel is used as an excuse for rampant antisemitism. People will - and do - believe any lie in pursuit of this hatred.
