@Sig_McAllister@JohnCleese If we were each truly honest, wouldn’t all of us begin any communication with ‘Orange Man Bad”? …and isn’t that what he wants us to start our thinking with?
@LifeAfloat Thank you, Nick, for continued inspiration. You are what a human should be for his fellow man. All the Best in 2026 from the Coast of California: wet, wild and wonderful as the year turns over.
@TweetMangione@LogothetisTheo@allenanalysis A mix…look up California Genocide on Wikipedia. Amazing how ruthless a whole community can become: shocked, angry, vindictive, ruthless and cruel.
@LogothetisTheo@allenanalysis True…yesterday I researched a bit about the Indigenous people of California. The government provided weapons, and put a bounty on them. By 1890, out of every 23 native people, 22 were dead. One out of twenty-three survived.
@NikitaJGarner Well Done! I’m in California, but rode an Irish Sporthorse many years ago, and thought the mix of Irish TB/Draught so sporting, safe, and spirited that I raised them while I could. It was their willingness and good cheer. Hope you have that with this one. Best of Luck!
@LifeAfloat Lovely…my Cairn Terriers originated there, but I found none when I visited in 2017. Maybe California will allow me another try soon. I’ve enjoyed the UK vicariously with you, may you continue with joy and good fortune!
@herdyshepherd1@Waterstones A good story, very well-written. Didn’t think I would enjoy as much as the shepherd works, because I have sheep. But I have no ducks, and was wrapped up in this tale, as if in an eiderdown…
@johnsmalaney@Lucy_Worsley Traveling with dogs for years (show Cairn Terriers), makes it a good idea to have a bed sheet with me to throw on any/all beds. What a good time we have had!
