“oomf means one of my followers” NOT WHEN I USE IT. IT MEANS ONE. OF .MY. FRIENDS. YOU ARE MY FRIENDS.

writing down your feelings on paper feels so embarrassing "today i was sad :(" like shut up bro

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

@jukoist Merlin is like the only one consistently shown to be able to drag him out of his head when he gets like this, it's really sweet 😭 Arthur only ever manages his six-to-eight hour dissociation streaks when Merlin’s not actively there to prevent them

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

Really big fan of how Arthur handles his emotions. My favorite coping mechanism of his is when he completely shuts down goes nonverbal and barely moves for hours like a sickly Victorian poet

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

The real reason they didn't go with the depressed Arthur plotline is because it would've just been 45 minutes of Arthur staring dead into the middle distance without moving or blinking. He really is the dissociation king

@merlinbias 1. Frozen deep blue: https://t.co/H0tMW3y1bz (tw for this one, but it ends happily!)
2. Into the woods: https://t.co/SurbvQR3F8
3. like water and oil: https://t.co/sh2hz1BAWX

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

@merlinbias I have three! They kind of range in scale and validity for Merlin’s assholery but they're still pretty good

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

@jukoist It sucks too because he seems to really love making harmless and beautiful things with it, like that horse he made out of smoke, or the butterflies, or the dragon out of the fire. At his core he's just a silly whimsical guy and his magic is an extension of that

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

@jukoist I think just using his magic for his own leisure would be one of his worst habits. He really starts to view it and himself as extentions of a cause (Arthur, Magic's Liberation), and one of the times he played with his magic he nearly got himself and Gaius killed.

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

@merlinbias I was lowkey not expecting them to get back together after that because if I was Arthur that would've been my final straw 😭 cheated on and manipulated by his dad AND manipulated by the lohl? just put him down bro he's been through enough

[lol @ballzd33pyo]

@merlinbias Ooh, I've read this fic! It's really good and such a unique way to adapt Merlin’s worst actions into a modern setting, while keeping everyone sympathetic and in-character. The part where Arthur comes home and his laptop is missing made my stomach actually drop lmao

Dio realizing "holy shit he's dead for real" and immediately dropping the villain act is one of the best scenes in the entire series, he really thought they'd be going back and forth forever

[EggBot @eggbotnic]

yeah bro I'm working on your commission in fact it's almost done right now
